*This excess policy covers current members and associate members of NHRA who are accidentally injured while attending or participating in a racing event at an NHRA member track. Typical examples of covered events include test sessions, national events, divisional events, and other drag racing events if conducted under NHRA rules or if conducted under the rules of an approved alternate sanctioning organization. While this is an excess policy, which means coverage does not take effect until all other available insurance coverage is exhausted, it is important to recognize that since workers’ compensation insurance is considered to be an exclusive remedy for injured employees, no coverage applies to anyone, including event workers, if they are required to be covered under the workers compensation laws of that state. And, as with all insurance policies, certain activities and events may not be covered, and coverage is, at all times, limited to the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the insurance policy.
